Optional Foundation
We HIGHLY recommend purchasing the wood slat foundation here to support the OMI mattress of your choosing. You must support your OMI mattress with the proper foundation to be able to claim your 20-year warranty
In order to be protected under the OMI mattress 20-year warrant, you must:
1. Support your OMI mattress with an OMI wood slat foundation or OMI Supplemental Foundation Layer of appropriate size (platform beds are acceptable, provided the distance between each slat does not exceed three inches to support OrganicPedic® mattresses and one inch to support REST® mattresses)
2. Use Full-, Queen-, and King-size sets with a frame that has a metal or wood center support.
3. Transport your mattress or foundation only on its side. DO NOT use the handles for transporting the mattress, as they are intended only to help you rotate your mattress.
