The Mitsubishi PVA-AA42NL air handler paired with the PUZ-AK42NLHZ outdoor unit delivers 42,000 BTU of high-capacity, ENERGY STAR®-certified heating and cooling for large single-zone spaces up to 1,750 sq ft. This advanced ducted system uses H2i Hyper-Heat technology to provide 100% heating at 5 °F and reliable performance down to –13 °F, making it ideal for cold climates.
The PVA indoor unit features a multi-position cabinet (upflow, downflow, horizontal left/right), ECM blower, and fiberglass-free R-4.2 insulation for efficient and quiet operation. The PUZ-AK42NLHZ outdoor condenser uses low-GWP R-454B refrigerant and includes a base-pan heater, Blue Fin anti-corrosion coating, and a factory charge supporting up to 245 ft of line set.
With selectable external static pressure, smart control compatibility, and optional electric heat kits, this system is built for durability, flexibility, and all-season comfort.
