Maintenance Tips
  • Wipe Exterior Weekly: Clean the stainless‑steel finish with a soft cloth and mild detergent or warm, soapy water to remove grease and fingerprints; always wipe with the grain and avoid abrasive pads/harsh cleaners to protect the finish.

  • Clean Grease‑Collection & Blower Surfaces: This model uses Vent‑A‑Hood’s patented Magic Lung® filterless design that traps grease inside the blower housing — regularly wipe internal grease‑collection areas and blower housing with warm, soapy water to prevent buildup and maintain high 1200 CFM airflow.

  • Inspect Ductwork & Vent Paths: Periodically ensure the duct and vent openings are clear of obstructions so the hood vents smoke and odors effectively to the outside; this preserves performance and reduces fire risk.

  • Check Lights & Hardware: Wipe light covers and replace bulbs as needed; tighten loose screws to keep lighting bright and the hood secure.

  • Run Fan After Cooking: Let the fan run 5–10 minutes after cooking to clear residual smoke, steam, and odors and reduce long‑term residue.
